Hi Team,

Please let us know whether there is any option to get daily incremental updates for symantec client computers which can be pushed/installed as an alternative to our symantec sepm server ?

Yes, this is what should currently be happening. The SEPM and/or GUPs will push out deltas. Also, depending on what version you're using, but, SEP 14 will use the latest content set from the cloud.

Symantec provides definitions on daily basis, so it would be better to get GUP configured so that it could provide these definitions to other SEP clients -

Thanks for the reply. Yes, We know that is what currently happening. But, in our case, due to network issues(communication ports), client computers in few branches are not updating. So, we thought of some alternative of getting those deltas and installing in those branch computers manually.

If you would like to manually update SEP clients, go to below link and download the definition files which you can use to update sep definitions -

delta definitions can only be generated by SEPM and can not be used for manual updation of clients

Have you considered configuring a Group Update Provider at that branch? This will allow to pull from the GUP on the LAN instead of coming back across the WAN.
