    I am install new SEPM which is against the backup of the main server for the security.

    Will the SEPM server is used a license for the installation?

    I configure the setting that when main server restart/disconnect client communicate to new server, will it back again when main server install?

    How to install?

    Yes you can install the new server as a partner server. You can set the first priority to your main server.

    When your server switch off for any schedule client will communicate with partner server.

    All process will remain same on clients.

    I configure the setting that when main server restart/disconnect client communicate to new server, will it back again when main server install?

    When the server start client will recommunicate to the first prioirty server.

    --Edit Again--

    SEPM not be used. A Symantec Endpoint Protection license applies to the Symantec Endpoint Protection clients

    You need to install SEPM as a failover or load balancing mode so that if one goes down other can pick it up,

    Hi Manjot,

    Thank you for posting in Symnatec community.

    It seems you have to configure additional SEPM either as a replication partner or failover/load balancing.

    No need of additional license in this case. Check this article to get more info:

    Can a single license be split between multiple separate Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers?

    --> Yes

    How to install?

    -->  You have two options.

    1) Failover & load balance server:

    OR
