Just installed Ghost solutions suite 2.0 and created the COnsole Boot partition, however when I start a PXE session adn push this to the machine, on reboot I get the error Invalid partition table.  I then used our old console boot partition package and it runs fine but wont connect to the server as it is running 2.0 now.  any ideas on why this isnt working out for us.  this machine does not have windows on it which is why we wanted to push the boot partition to it.

    Hi,

Can you use multicast to deploy the Ghost Boot Partition (GBP) image that you created with 2.0 to the client and then boot the client from another device (PXE, floppy) and run the command "gdisk 1"? This command will display the partitions on your client. Is the GBP the active partition? If not, make it active using the command "gdisk 1 /p:1 /act" and reboot the client. It should boot into GBP and connect to the console.

If you have a PXE infrastructure, the easiest way to connect a DOS client to the console is to create the "TCP/IP Network Ghost Client Boot Image" package (a .sys file) using Ghost Boot Wizard (it is the last option in the list) and copy this file on your PXE server. Boot the client from this image and you have the DOS client connected to the console. The only mention here is the DOS client will connect to the console that was used to create the sys file.

    Hope this helps,
    Adina
