  • 1.  Ip blocked antispam.

    Often my ip address is blocked by symantec antispam. I have already seen and seen again I do not have any reported abuse. For several times, some on the same day, I have to enter http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ to request the removal of my ip address. My question is: how to make this permanent? since I am not a spammer.

    Hi Fabiano,

    For security of our network and our customers we can never whitelist IP's that do not belong to us. Our customers can whitelist IP's for their email only. I'm ever so sorry about this but if this happens again you can request delisting in here and we can get this removed by our spam engineers.

    Hi Fabiano,

    I have again checked our blocklist and that IP is not listed and emails from that IP will not be blocked by us? I have also increased the confidence of that IP accross our network.

    There is no reason why we would block your emails based on that IP.

    Please do let me know if you have any further information concerning this as currently we do not have issues with that IP.

    Hi Fabiano,

    Where are you getting this information from? I have checked that IP and can confirm that the Confidence is High and the IP is not listed on our blocklist.

    So our .cloud (Use to be Messagelabs) servers will not reject your email.

    This output I am getting at symantec's own site: http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/.


    I am trying to send to the chubb.com who is using the symantec antispam.

    It turns out that the emails do not even reach the destination.
    By the way, at this moment it appears in the site: http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ that I am blocked.

    Hi Fabiano,

    Now I can see where your getting this Information from. This is in reference to our Messaging Gateway products. This particular Forum is for .cloud products. As mentioned your reputation of the IP 164.132.49.180 is high on the .Cloud infrastructure and it is not listed on our products block list.

    In order to get the IP reputation increased on there side you will need to address this on there forum.

    I'm sorry I cannot assist you further on this but I do not have access to their product infrastructure.
