  • 1.  ISA 2006 Server and Symantec Anti virus recommendation

    Hi expert,

Currently I have 2 servers, 1 server is installed with ISA 2006 and another server that host the Anti virus. The anti virus that i am using is the Symantec Anti virus Corp Edition v8.1
I would need to set up a connection between ISA 2006 Server with Symantec Antivirus.

    My question is :
    1. Will this exisiting anti virus be able to support the ISA 2006 which is installed under Window Server 2003?
    2. I came across that Symantec actually has another version known as Symantec AntiVirus for ISA v4.x
Here is the link for reference.
        http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2002120411104154
Can I use the existing Symantec Anti Virus Corp Editiion v8.1 ? How can i set up the connection between the ISA Server 2006 and the Symantec Anti virus

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

    EOL: End of life.

ISA and savce 10.x on same system, issues not heard.Read somewhere in the forum  clients getting updates from proxy server has some issue, ,howeever fine tuning needs to be done.
