Is anyone else getting the following Windows 2003 server application event log error on the Notification Server running Altiris 7.0 Patch Management?

Description:
ISAPI 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll' reported itself as unhealthy for the following reason: 'Deadlock detected'.

When this "deadlock" happens, I lose the ability to navigate on the web console for the Notification Server.  The only way to resolve this is to reset IIS.  It happens multiple times per day and we don't have but maybe two people using the web console.

I've seen this in our NS Server event log, however it doesn't always coincide with an inability to navigate the site. 

Does it seems to happen when browsing to a particular page/part of the console?  I've managed to lock up the NS console before when working with reports (if a report w/a bad or unfinished sql query somehow gets saved).  Maybe something custom was done to a particular part of your site that isn't handled well. 

Read here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828222  for troubleshooting/debugging this kind of deadlock... this may help you pinpoint the issue.  I've definitely not seen this with anywhere near the frequency that you're experiencing this problem.

SQL Server on box or off? You can do some amazing things by isolating the different virtual directories to their own app pool if one particular function is hammering your console.
