SEE Full Disk Edition version 8.2.0, AES with 256-bit key

The above is what i'm using and i know its already EOL but now im facing problems where by the system is not able to boot to windows. The error stated 'The Symantec Endpoint Encryption Volume files contain errors. Run recover.' So in order for me to run recover, i believe a dycryption is needed before i can run recovery.

Have been searching for the tools but most are stating PGP which i've no clue if they works for my issue. And also some i read was that its not backward compactible which makes me rather confuse.

Can the support advise on the correct link on the ISO which i can download?

From what I recall (v8.2.* being some time ago now) the recovery ISO images were included in the original media download of SEE, and were not on any KB article.

I think you'll have to ask support to see if they can provide you a link to the legacy media if you don't have it to hand anymore.

Well Sadly the support doesnt wish to entertain ex-customer.

So I'll have to create a WINPE boot disk, 'how to create a WINPE boot disk'

    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH223783.html

is this the correct zip file for SEE Full Disk Access or SEE Recover Utilities support?

So i'll have to create my own WINPE base on the attachment.

Am i able to use the zip file for SEE 8.2?

Do you still have your product serial numbers?

I've just tested a couple of my older ones, and I'm still able to download SEE7/8 from https://fileconnect.symantec.com
