  • 1.  issue in Patch deployment policy in Altiris 7.1 SP1

    Hi Friends,

    I am facing one issue in Patch deployment policy in Altiris 7.1 SP1 . Patch Deployment Policy Expiration Date is 27-02-2012 & machine date is 28-02-2012 11:45 PM when it got added to the policy.

    Still policy got applied on the machine & patches got Installed.

    As per my understanding these patches should not get installed on this machine.

    Please suggest?

    Is it possible that the client machine was part of multiple policies?  You can go to Resource Manager for the computer and then view a Policy Summary to check.  When my clients complain of patch behavior not respecting the settings they've provided, it's always meant (for me, anyway) that the computers have had multiple policies.
