  • 1.  Issue with Symantec RBL!

    Posted Feb 12, 2015 12:31 PM

    Hello,

I have received some ips from OVH Data center Canada since day one these IPS are no where blacklisted but blacklisted i http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ RBL. As soon as i send delisting request they gets relisted all ips next day itself. Even those ips too whcih are even not used yet. Seems http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ hate the whole 255 IP Range too.

We contacted OVH Data center many times but they are not helping and we are not involved in any kind of spam issues too.

So at this stage please suggest how to have our IPS kept safe from the RBL At http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ ?

    Regards!

    aanand

You need to find a hosting company that doesn't cater to people sending out spam or we will block the IP and other IPs around it to protect against snowshoe spamming techniques.

    This is the problem..

    1. You offer very bad RBL service that nobody there who can reply. You took it 5 MOnths to reply a normal query in forum.

    2. When we fill the forms nobody says the reasons so our Data center get a chance to say "We are not sure you are the user"....

So i will suggest being a reputed RBL atleast make sure to  timely reply to delisting request. Dont delist but atleast mention written answer so that we can share the same to data center that becuase of someone else we are suffering unncessary.

There is no use or purpose of a RBL if that is not uptodated.

We do not provide an RBL service. When you purchase our antispam products or services, it is part of the detection.
