  • 1.  Issues with imaging with PXELinux on GX620's

I've created an image on a GX620 and would like to deploy it to several other GX620's. If I deploy it to the GX620 in my office using PXElinux (Altiris DS 6.9 SP1), it works flawlessly. However if I deploy it to any other GX620 using the same job, I get this error:

CIFS VFS: error connecting to IPv4 socket. Aborting operation
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -101rc.agent: warning: no express mount found!

All of the GX620's are completely identical in hardware, so I know it's not a driver issue. I've tried imaging them on the same network cable used on the one that was successful and I still can't get it to work. I'm completely stumped on this one.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You might ensure that the BIOS settings are identical between the machines.  i.e. SATA operations, or NIC settings, etc.
