I have a previous post about after installing RU6a, when I install the SEP client on a new machine, it does not show up in the SEPM.  One of the suggestions I read in the forums stated they had to uninstall and reinstall to get theirs to work.  I was at the end of the line trying to troubleshoot, so I backed up the database and uninstalled and reinstalled.  I wound up using the jks I had found in the backup folder so I had the certificate and password as well from the server.xml file.  I wound up having to use the sylinkreplacer to replace the sylink.xml file on all of the clients.  I am basically to the same point now, but I am still having the issue where when I install the client on a new machine, it is saying the virus definitions are out of date and when I go to the "Troubleshooting" tab on the client, it says the server is offline.  Another note is I attempted to delete the default install packages (which you can't do I found out) so I tried creating a new install and am getting an error message stating "sylink.xml is either missing or corrupt in this package".  Can someone please point me in the right direction of how to get my clients to see the server?  I have gone through the troubleshooting of communications with the server and everything appears to be ok.  Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Please run sylinkmonitor and post the logs.

Go to data\inbox\logs\ersecreg and exsecars logs as well.

PLease do a secars test and let us know what the results are.
