    The IT Management Suite 7.5 HF3 Release Notes contains what's new in HF3, HF3 installation steps, fixed issues, and known issues of Symantec™ Management Platform and IT Management Suite Solutions.

    You can access the release notes from http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC7103

    I noticed there are updates to Virtual Machine Management, Monitor solution and patch management but I didn't see in the release notes what was changed in these solutions aside from added support for ESXi 5.5 and HyperV.

    Hi,

    Can you give me some more details about these changes that you noticed and where? Thanks.

    When I opened SIM I saw the additional products not defined in the document you linked to.  The only mention I saw was of ESXi 5.5.

    Also,

      I am experiencing a failure with DS HF3, and SIM reverting the install to HF2 for DS.  All of the other solutions upgraded fine.  I currently have an open case 05940113 to which i have attached an a.log to.

    I finally figured out why DS HF3 was failing in my environment.  After digging for days for a log file that would tell me something useful I cam across this in my system TEMP directory:

    MSIef82.LOG

    Error 1312. Cannot create the directory 'F:\Program Files\Altiris\Deployment\BDC\bootwiz\oem\DS\winpe\x64\Base\Program Files\Symantec\Deployment\RDeploy'.  A file with this name already exists.  Rename or remove the file and click Retry, or click Cancel to exit.
    === Logging stopped: 2/3/2014  13:23:50 ===

    I renamed rdeploy to rdployb.bak and was then able to preform the install without any errors in the Altiris Log Viewer.
