    Hi,

    Just read through the release notes for IT Management Suite 8.1 RU7 (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.DOC10979.html) and found under "New feauters" that an new feature has been added to the ASDK.

    The feature "Simplified software deployment application programming interface (API)" (https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.DOC11040.html). And the discription says:

    With just one method call, this API lets you import a software package, create a software component resource with the package, and then generate an installation policy for this resource.

    This feature sounds very nice and I am keen to upgrade my test environment to test this new feature.

    Anyone seen this new feature? I wish when they added changes like this they would do a demo or show it working in real life. We are upgrading tomorrow will see it myself after that
