We are using SPSS 6.0 in one of the Sharepoint server (2007) in Windows 2003 VM. The product is registered with single scanner, and it's working as per the requirement.
Recently, we have been trying to do the same setup in Windows 2008 R2 VM. We have installed Sharepoint 2007 and all the necessery components in the new VM. The Win 2008 R2 VM has been placed in an isolated network. After installing SPSS 6.0, is it possible to register the scanner within an isolated network ? If it is possible, do we need to have the license keys to be transferred to the isolated system ?
In addition, we are not going for AV definitaion or LUA update right now. That can be performed once the full setup is successful and we bring the 2008 R2 VM into the live network.
