    Hi all,

Just a quick question to you. Have any of you been able to virtualize Java, Flash, .net framework 3.5 Sp1 in SWV on a Windows XP system ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Java and Flash is not very difficult.
But .Net framework can not be done.
If you really want it the easiestway is to create a brand new MSi of it and then virtualise that.
It will not be the easiest way of doing it, but it is the only way.

For your reply, I will try look further in to .net framework, java and flash was the important ones.

How would you easily deploy programs for 100 PC's ? the PC'c would have SWV installed of course.

I would preffere our own admin tool called DVs management console.
That enables you to push on demand, pull at logon or pull at logoff.
It is not the only tool available, but it gives you the upmost choices for doing what you want.
One huge benefit would be the improved license inventory that it brings with it.

Flash and java is easy (just get the standalone installer).
However, on Windows 7 the java installer fails with an error message (not so on Windows XP). The Flash installer works on both, but Flash does not seem to work for firefox on Windows 7; on XP  it is no problem...

Capture doesn't work very well on Win7 if you're using any current version of SWV so I would advise not using it until SP1, which is our Win7 support build, comes out.
