  • 1.  Just upgrade Wsus 3.0 SP2 and now Endpoint Console is not responding

    On my 2003 server, I just installed the SP2 of WSUS 3.  Endpoint (11.0.5) is installed on the same server, both software are on their own tcpip port (none was installed on the default web instance).  Since then, Endpoint Manager console do not answer.  I used the Sep Support tools, resulting in a 8014 port not responding.  Ok, so what should I do?
    Next logic step would be to restart the server...
    Any idea?

    Check in IIS and make sure the SEPM website is running (Symantec Web Server, since you mentioned port 8014).

    Hello,
    I saw this problem about Sharepoint. Wsus use IIS therefore will be a problem. please check IIS and sites as like sandra said.
    this is not good idea but can you move wsus role to another server? :)
