The c:\program files\common files\symantec shared\symcdata\sesmvirdef64 folder is over 2 GB in size currently. Our server is running short on space. Is this a normal size for this folder? If not, how do I clean it up? If so, Is there any way to relocate the Symantec Shared folder? I could obviously do a junction point, but those are hard to maintain and keep track of... I'd rather have a way to repoint that location in the program if I can.

You cannot change the drive, by default virus definitons or symantecshared folder will always be on C drive.

What is the version of SEP insatlled?

If you are not running SEP RU5 then upgrade to SEP RU5.

If you have SEP RU5 insatlled then call support and log a case

I noticed this same problem as well this morning.
Upgrading to RU5 seemed to fix the problem but I noticed that the definitions were were not increasing past December 31st, 2009
