Hi.

What is the latest version of Symantec Administration Console for Macintosh?  What version(s) of Symantec/Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh does it come with?  And, if it is older than SAV/NAV for Mac 11, does it still manage the newer SAV/NAV for Mac 11 clients?

Also, is there any news on managing Mac clients with Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager?

I was able to get my hands on SAV for Mac 10.2.1 install CD, so I know now that the SACM 1.0.2 comes with that, but is there a newer SACM that comes with SAV for Mac 11, or if not, does the SACM 1.0.2 manage SAV for Mac 11 clients OK?

Latest version of the SACM is 1.0.2.

Latest version of SAV for Mac is 10.2 (which can be installed on OSX 10.4.11 and higher).

NAV 11 can't be managed by a SACM.

SEP integration for Mac is in the works.  I think they are aiming for Feb 2010, but that is subject to change.

Sorry, missed this post.  There is no "SAV for Mac 11".  :)   If there is a version 11 associated with it, it may show up in the SACM, but it can't be managed.

Thanks Sandra. It would be helpful if you could post where you heard some of the info, especially the "aiming for Feb 2010". I too have been looking for this information so I can pass it on to users who inquire about SEP for Mac. Apreciate hearing even an approximate date, because I heard it was in the works just had no idea of a rough timeframe. Very helpful post : )

I don't have any sources I can point to, unfortunately.  I have heard by Q2 also.  As always, this is subject to change.  I do know it is a very high priority.
