    Hi,

We have recently installed Symanctec Solution 14.X version. It is working fine with about 6 Test Windows 2012R2 Server running the SEP Client. We wanted to test the same on Linux (Redhat 7) but i could not find any option for the same. Do we need to install Redhat Client directly using RPM repository or is there a different way of doing it? I have gone through the Install guide but it talks about copying the Package onto the Server? How do I find this "package"?

Assuming you have downloaded the "Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14_Full_Installation_EN.exe" - once extracted, you can find it under \SEPM\Packages

In SEPM, go to Clients -> Install and add it from there.

It might be your package installer might be corrupt for linux only or was interuppted while trying to install the packages. Try manually installing the linux client to your SEPM again. If it fails, redownload the file from fileconnect and try again.

    Hi,

This is a fully functional trial edition. Our licenses are delayed due to some financials but we were promised by the Sales team that it will have all functionality. We had to proceed with it since our Project was getting delayed and he did mention that we can just enter the Keys later. I wonder if Symantec is just waiting to be registered as a full package before we can access all other packages. I am attaching the folder which contains the packages. I think it contains only 32\64 and MAC package.

The packages are not available under Trial Edition. Had to download the full package using Valid Account No. to extract the Linux package.
