  • 1.  LinuxPE always kernel panic

    Posted May 08, 2017 05:31 PM

I just upgraded from Altiris 6.9 to GSS 3.2.  I installed the updated LinuxPE to PXE and made a boot option for it.  Everything I test it on goes into an immediate kernel panic.  It's done this on 3 laptop models and a VM so I'm fairly certain the problem is in the PXE image.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?  Picture included from the VM.

    Thank you!

Called support and the solution is to use x86 regardless if the hardware is x64.  Disabled x64 as an option on PXE and it's working fine.

Thanks, I've been unable to find any info on this before. Just gave up using the linux part.
