  • 1.  LiveUpdate start failed with error code -536805375

     I had just installed Windows 7 on my computer and then i went to my schools website that has Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.5. I install that and then it gives me a warning sign on the antivirus and antispyware protection. It says that it is out of date and that i need to update it. So when i click to update i get the message LiveUpdate start failed with error code -536805375.  I have no clue what to do about it, hope that someone can help me on this.

     thank you, i appreciate it. I had uninstalled and reinstalled a bunch of times but i never once deleted all the files in the process!

    Did deleting the folders and re-installing SEP fixed your issue ?
