Endpoint Protection

I upgraded my clients from sep 11mr4m2 and sep11 mr5mp2 to sep 11 ru6mp2.

I used update groups method from sepm console. we are in a workgroup network using static ip and gateway.

we upgraded 1050 pc successfully through this method. but from past few days I observed some clients are loosing their gateway ip which i have to put in manually again.

what could be the problem. NTP on client is working fine. defination updates are working fine.

Has anyone ever faced the same problem ? what could be the solution ?

Do you see any related error under event viewer ?

Did you migrate to RU6 before going to RU6 MP2?

Migration paths
Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6200 (RU6 MP2) can migrate seamlessly over the following:

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6000.550 (RU6), 11.0.6005.562 (RU6a) and 11.0.6100.645 (RU6MP1).

There were no MP's for MR5... it was 11.0.5002 and that's it. But in either case, I can't think of any reason a Gateway address would be removed due to SEP. That info should be gathered as part of DNS... or if it's statically assigned, it's still not something we would be trying to configure (we may read it, but nothing we do would attempt to write or make a change).
