  • 1.  LUA linux product is added and distributed but . . .

    I have added a download and distribution product for JUST the Linux component as per the article at 

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH23106

    I am trialling ONLY Linux clients so I have selected ONLY Symantec Endpoint Protection v12.1 > Avenge MicroDefs25 SavCorp10 Linux Virus Definitions

    The product list was added successfully

    The definitions download successfully

    The distribution takes place successfully

    But on viewing My Symantec Products instead of seeing 3 lovely green ticks I get 3 amber bars!!

    If anyone has any clues - be glad to hear?

    This is fine. It happens when you select updates partially instead of selecting the whole product (such as all of SEP 12.1.5).

    Check if the client are downloading updates from LUA. If yes, then you are fine.

    Yeah, it's a long time flaw in the product, one of many that have still not been addressed. It can cause some confusion when new to the world of LUA.
