The SEPM is running in replication mode with 10,000 Clients. There is no issue in exporting the Packages of Windows but Mac is creating problem. I have gone through the below article but not of much use.

it will not work,MAC client package SEP 12.1 RU2 exporting from  SEPM 12.1 RU1 MP1 or earlier version will fail.

Windows package will work, not MAC

    Hi Ajit,

Before export the package verify that no one can access SEPM console Except you.

And then try to export the package.

    Hi Syed,

There is no other admin account. Thus there is no point of getting accessed by others.

    Hi pete,

As you have mentioned in your last post that is not possible with Mac. So there must be a Documentation on it. Simply share that documents with me in email/private message.

Symantec Support are busy with othere criticle issue but this is a just an information i need, so i dnt think its a good decission overload Support Team.

Your best bet is to follow the proper procedures which is to update your SEPM or SEPMs to 12.1 RU2

This will add the required Mac RU2 binaries to Admin>Install Packages>Client Install Packages

Yes, it is possible to import the SEP Mac RU2 into an older SEPM, but it is not recommended

    Hi Guys!!!

Here is what i was looking for in this reference.

    Mac clients

SEP 12.1 RU2 Mac clients can be managed by any SEPM of version 12.1 or higher. The following constraints apply:

    • No version of SEPM before 12.1 RU2 can import or export 12.1 RU2 Mac install packages.
This is due to the changes made in the SEP 12.1 RU2 Mac client package structure. To work around this limitation, do one of the following:

      • Install an un-managed SEP 12.1 RU2 Mac client and then use Sylink drop tool http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH131585 to make it a managed client.

      • Upgrade an existing managed client by installing the unmanaged package from the DVD. Upgrading a managed client with the unmanaged package results in a managed client.
Note: This workaround does not apply in the case of Mac OS X 10.8, as older clients are not supported on the operating system, and you cannot upgrade the operating system with SEP installed.

    • SEPM reports that have operating system-related information do not show operating system details for Mac OS X 10.8. The OS column may show "Unknown Operating System" for Mac OS X 10.8 clients.

    • The OS filters in SEPM do not work correctly for Mac OS X 10.8. In some locations, such as on the Clients tab, searching for Mac clients does not show Mac OS X 10.8 machines. These clients may appear as Windows clients in the search instead.
