  • 1.  Mac + SEP + Bouncing Icon = Driving people crazy!!

    So, installing SEP on Mac as an unmanaged client causes the icon for Symantec to go bouncing up and down a few times a day.  This is driving everybody crazy. 

    Is there a way to disallow it?

    Remove the notifications?

    The why: Unmanaged client writes non-quiet schedule under the root user so it runs every 4 hours for all users. We are asking that this be changed in a future release to make it silent.
