Can Symatec please give notification on support of macOS 10.13 High Sierra which is set for release at the end of September.

SKEL has been introdcuced for non MDM devices.

Hwever I'm interested to know which version of Endpoint is supported for MDM devices where SKEL is off.

    Hi matgriff,

Thanks for the post.  Generally speaking, support for new OSes follows shortly after that new OS becomes available. Keep an eye on that article that Brian recommended: it will be updated when a new compatible SEP version is released.

    Hi Mick,

Your release radar still doesn't even address 10.13 High Sierra.  10.14 MP2 runs, but it still has a kernel extension which is blocked by default by Apple.  Please advise when a new update is to be released, and when your matrix is going to be updated.

    Thanks

Please update https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH131045.html when you officially support High Sierra. We are waiting for an offical word on this.

12.1.7266.6800 appears to work on 10.13 if it was installed before you upgrade, but the installers won't run on a 10.13 machine.  That's a somewhat critical issue.

It has been 10 business days since the release of High Sierra and there is no mention of it on your website.

If 10% of our users upgraded weekly - then we would have 60 or so computers without antivirus protection going into next week, this is not acceptable. Note - we do have several macs that are on lockdown due to other vendors that also lag in Apple support.

I would like to see a graph of OSX release dates along with SEP release dates to see if Symantec is getting better at the updates or worse.

Agree, the lacking update will have significant impact. Already noticing the issues.

Just found this technical discussion from Apple Development https://developer.apple.com/library/content/technotes/tn2459/_index.html will test installing client, perhaps a kernel extension is getting in the way?

Just a note: at least for 12.1.7266.6800, the installation issue is due to Symantec setting limits as to what versions of the operating system the software can be installed on.  Don't know what, if any, other issues may exist, but that's the primary reason you can't install the software.

Link is dead but just got an email alert for it:

    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.DOC10647.html

    Hopefully, it's out soon.

MP2 still shows up as the latest version to download on FileConnect.
