I am ready to install Symantec Endpoint Protection and the first questions is Do I want Endpoint to managed this computer or not? I do not know enough about computers to want to manage this program, and I would like to just to install and have this program just do its JOB.

    Have a great Week_End

Are you asking about SEP Manager Server??

If yes then confirm you that Server require to maintain the policy of Client system as well as server Client.

If you are nistalling multiple client then suggest you to install one Server to manage it.

hope this infromation come help you.

    Hi,

SEP is an enterprise product, it is meant to be managed by people who know about computers.

SEP is made by two parts, a SEP Manager and  the SEP clients, having a SEP Manager makes sense if you have several clients to manage, how many computers are you willing to protect and manage?
