    Dear All,

    It you want to deliver a software package via Managed Software Delivery and you have some machines with the SVWS Agent installed and some without it installed (perhaps you have licensing limitations), and you tell the Managed Software Delivery to install into the virtual layer, but a machine does not have the SVWS Agent installed, then it will install into the operating system, normally. If the SVWS Agent IS installed, then a layer will be created.

    This was a question, but I have changed this into a sharing information post, because I found out the answer to the question, in case anyone else wants to know.

    yep! That's how it works yes
