Is it possible to move licenses from one Blue Coat ProxySG-unit to an other identical Unit?

e.g. if we have a spare ProxySG without licenses and want to use that for replacing a licensed unit, is that possible?

It is hard coded one you cannot do. But if you have purchased Active Box with Cold StandBy device, you can move the Active Box license to Cold StandBy device.

Incase if you are doing RMA for Active appliance.
