  • 1.  Manually import MAC client package

Hi, I could not find any help on this forum. I have English Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1.6 MP6 and I would like to add the Brazilian Portuguese client downloaded from fileconnect.

I added the Windows x86 and x64 packages just fine, but with the MAC import I get this error:

You cannot add this client install package because the package contains a single .EXE file. The sylink.xml file is missing or corrupted in this package.

It does not make a difference pointing to the ZIP file or the extracted folder.

I already read the following but it does not help me:

Manually import client packages into Endpoint Protection Manager

Do I have to download the full installation instead of the all_clients?

    Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP6_Full_Installation_BR.exe

    Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP6_All_Clients_BR.zip

You need to select the SEP_MAC.INFO file to import it. It should be apart of

    Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP6_All_Clients_BR.zip

Thank you Brian, but I had to download the SEPM file to extract the INFO file.
