If you use the SuperDAT .exe, then run the /prompt /silent commands to install the defs silently and prompt if a reboot is required. Or use /reboot /silent if you wish to force a reboot.
e.g. SDAT1234.exe /prompt /silent
You should be able to do the same if you use XDAT and not SDAT. XDAT is lighter than SDAT and includes only DAT files.
You probably want to use a simple Copy File command with a Run command associated with it, unless you are planning on doing compliance checks based on definition date -- in which case you should make each SDAT a software resource with a compliance rule associated.
