  • 1.  MDM profile stuck on device

    I have a user that removed his profiles and agent from the device. However, it shows that he still has his email profile. When you go into Settings -- General -- profiles it's still in there, but he's unable to remove it. I had him go into Settings -- Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, find his account and try to delete it; however, there wasn't a delete option.

    He's been completely removed from the console, so I'm unable to remove the profile that way either.

    Is there a way to get this profile off of the device?

    Steven, sounds like your user is on iOS?  You might want to try rebooting the phone.  I've seen that happen before and it simply has issues cleaning it up without a reboot.  Also, could he re-enroll into your environment so you can try removing it remotely?

    I forgot to mark this as resolved. I was having issues with the re-enrollment. I had to update my SCEP certficate. Once I did this, I had him re-enroll, then unenrolled him through the console. This fixed it!
