Message each time I star up the app

Each time I start up the Syamntec Endpoint Protection App on Windows 10, I get a maessage saying 'Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?'. Does this mean Symantec is working or do I need to configure the settings to enable Symantec to work properly? Any feedback is grealy appreciated.

Was it fresh install of SEP on Windows and what is the exact SEP version? Do you have admin rights to the PC?

SEP is V12, yes I do have admin rights to the PC and I have just downloaded SEP and restarted a few times still getting this message. Tried running as administrator but still getting the message.

Open the SEP gui and go to Help >> About at the top right.

The version number should show something like 12.1.xxxx.xxxx

It appears to be the UAC feature in Windows 10, see if this article helps:

Ok thank you, so that mean that its fine if it prompt appears each time I open the application?

Correct. This is not an issue/problem. It's normal behavior for how your PC is configured.

The SEP icon doesn't run with admin privileges because it's not needed (even though you're setup as an admin) so UAC prompts so you just need to click through it.
