    Hi everyone,

we have a problem with out SMG. We cannot release any mail from quarantine.

When we chose release option, it seems that the mail goes out of quarantine queue, but it lost. It does not go anywhere and disappears. I try to find email in 'Message audit' but there is a status 'Hold message in Spam Quarantine, Released'.

When I click on the recipient (in Message Audit), I review the section related to 'Delivery', It is displeyed IP address of SMG server, not IP address our Exchange server. End user dont receive mail.

    Two screenshots are in attachment.

Can someone help me with this issue ?

    Info...

I upgraded SMG to version 10.6.1-3 and I had the same problem.

After that, I created MX record in the internal DNS and on the SMG control center configured SMG define new host.

Now, release inbound emails from quarantine works regulary.

    Hi,

Take a look at the SMTP tab of "Control Center Settings" at administration / settings.

As quarantine and incidents reside on the CC its the CC which releases the mails. "Use existing non-local relay settings" is probably selected but can be changed to a dedicated server etc.
