  • 1.  Microsoft 2007 Excel getting stopped soon after enabling macros

    Hi,

     

    We have recently upgraded our SEPM from 12.x to 14.0.3876.  After upgrading client package, Users with MS Office 2007 version installed in their computer are facing issue while enabling macros. Soon after enabling macros, Excel gets crashed and doesn't open. We have tried unckecking memory exploit mitigation in few clients for which it works for some computers but not for all. Unchecking the same in sepm console shows error for all sep clients. Please help.

    Hello, 

    Are you receiving any errors from SEP client, if that is causing the issue to occur?

    Can you check in SEP logs, if you have any logs logged?

    I hope you have applied all the MS Office patches on the machines? 

    Office 2007 was tested and qualified for GEM.

    The root cause of any problems you are seeing is likely with some plugin that is being used.

    We would like to investigate this some more.

    Please open a support case so that our engineers can collect the relevant data.
