Client Management Suite

We created a new domain and are trying to migrate one altiris 8.0 HF3 to a new 8.0 hf4 server on two different domains. Does anyone have any documentation for doing this or suggestions?

Also starting from 8.0 HF4 release, you can migrate required data between NS 7.5 SP1 HF5 with PF installed or NS 7.6 HF7 with pf installed to 8.0 HF4.

Or from 8.0 HF4 to 8.0 HF4, but better to have latest 8.0 HF installed, like HF5.

will this work if we are chaning domain names in a different forest? 

Restoring dabase backup and installation ITMS on this database in another evironment should work, just make sure that managed client computers will be able to communicate with new NS machine.
