  • 1.  Migration SEPM to New Hostname and IP Address.

    Dear Guys,

    Good day!

    I has tried to install a new SEPM at the new server with a new hostname and new IP address. Below is the error message that I was taken from logs.

    DB type: Embedded Database
    SEPM Version: 12.1.1
    WinServer: 2008 R2
     
    I am using the replication method.
     
    Please advice.

    Was this when trying to replicate? Are they both at the same SEPM version?

    This is occur during the 'server configuration' stage of installation SPEM at the server. Yes, boths are same version. When it trying to replicate the database then the error message came out said..'unable to connect into database'.when I checked my old SPEM..the SPEM database was stopped at the services. I need to re-start back the old spem services.

    Hi Martin,

    After re-starting back the old spem services are you able to reconfigure the SEPM server?
