At present, a SEPM can use MS SQL 2008 as its database.  There will soon be a newer version available: MS SQL 2012.

So it is then possible to migrate the SQL 2008 R2 SEP database to SQL 2012 for SEP 11 Ru7mp2?

Is there a techinical document or article that states this?

Great to hear, but where is the documentation to suggest that Symantec will support SQL 2012 with SEP 11Ru7Mp2 running on it? I dont want to be put into a situation where we upgrade to SQL 2012 and then Symantec come back and say that its only supported if you install SEP 12.1
