    Hi

I will upgrade SMSMTP to Symantec Brightmail Gateway 9.0.1.

There are 4 IP addresses in Symantec Brightmail Gateway,  I list our information below:

I want hold 4 SMTP domains in Brightmail Gateway (one host).

    Domain : cclmotors.com  IP : 202.76.35.1
    Domain : chiaphua.com IP : 202.76.35.2
    Domain : mynortus.com IP : 202.76.35.181
    Domain : homelektro.com IP : 202.76.35.184

    I assign 202.76.35.1 to Ethernet interface 1 and created 3 virtual IP addresses 202.76.35.2, 202.76.35.181, 202.76.35.184.

However, there is only accept one IP address in “Inbound mail IP address”. When I input 202.76.35.1 in “Inbound mail IP address”, only email send to domain cclmotors.com  can income to in Brightmail Gateway. The email send to the other three domains “chiaphua.com, mynortus.com and homelektro.com” are rejected. How can I receive all incoming emails send to all domains? Can you send me the configuration steps? I am using Symantec Mail Security for SMTP Gateway 4.6 now, there is no any special configure for receive all incoming emails send to all domains.

    Regards,
    Thomas

SMTP Gateway 4.6 - is this the Exchange product?

    In Symantec Brightmail Gateway 9.01:

You don't need seperate IP addresses for INBOUND mail for differing domains.  Even if you did, it would complicate things if you implement TLS.

    1. Setup inbound interface <some IP>
    2. Under Protocol, Domains, and each of your domains, mark them Local Domains, under Delivery, add  [x] option route, and add the host for your INTERNAL server for this domain.

    3. Update the DNS MX record for each domain to use the <some IP> used in step 1.

If you need OUTBOUND mail for each domain to appear to come from seperate IP address, use the virtual IPs under  Admin, Configuration, <scanner>, SMTP, Advance settings, Delivery, and look at "Non-Local SMTP Delivery Bindings Per Domain"  On the left you'll see your local domains, on the right, your IP addresses.
