Symanec Protection Suites

I'm running Symantec Endpoint with Windows 10 and am experiencing frequent audio notifications of Endpoint doing its thing (like every minute or 2). Really annoying. Tried to disable sound by going to Control Panel and choosing None (no file) for Menu Pop-Ups as suggested in an earlier thread here about Windows 7. But, to no effect. Any new advice?

Are you running the unmanaged or managed version?

If unmanaged open the GUI and go to Change Settings >> Under Network Threat protection select Configure Settings >> Notifications tab and uncheck 'Use sounds when notifying users'

If the managed version, these needs to be done from the SEPM
