Please explain what this Firenet product allows you to do, so that we can then determine if you can use Altiris to gather information about it.

Filenet is the document storage server, you can save your document on this filenet server, then use sharepoint to see the file you save on the storage server, we have a lots of city clerk people they save their court notes on this server, it is easy to track all the years for the history of activity.

Right now we have more than 500 users use this filenet program, they login to server, this is web base, so I have no way can track which machines has gone to this web site to login in.

Our experience that Filenet require java to run, but some machine has no java, but they want to login to filenet server, it gave user error, so the bottom line where I can find out each machine has been login to this web site, and how can I find the table for this?

    Thanks

Even though the Filenet server provides web access, does it also provide a client application? If yes, then you can use inventory data to track it. If no, does Filenet record the logins somewhere, say in a file or an event log? If yes, then custom inventory could be used against the server. Monitor Solution could also target the event log. If Filenet does not record the logins, then you would need to check the IIS logs for the relevant GET url lines. Again, custom inventory or MS could be used. The only other option wouldbe to use a product like WebSense if that has login tracking capabilities.

YES, Filenet server create the user who can login to the URL, but I have no control of filenet server. I don't know filenet record the login somewhere,

Do you mean IIS logs for each workstion who login to URL?

We do have WebSense but this control by our security department, I will ask the person who is in charge about tracking capabilitites.

How about loacl machine in windows cookie?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

    Thanks
