    Hello

I inform you that we have  SEP and DCS:SA licenses to protect our environment

    SEP for end users

DCSSA for our data center (virtualization environment: VMware sphere)

For information, we do not have NSX and Vshield

    So my question is:

is deployment of DCSSA on VMs (virtual server) sufficient or must be deployed with SEP (DCSSA + SEP on VMs)

Because my knowledge about DCSSA, there is IDS detection and IPS prevention, but the notion of antivirus is not included (is that right or not)

On our situation, thank you to provide us more details, explanations and advices,

    Hello,

If you dont have NSX, I would rather suggest you deploy DCS SA for virtual servers and SEPM on top of it, so as you can have multiple layers of security, because DCS-SA would be IPS & IDS, but in case of signature threat, SEPM would take care of it. Better to have combination of both.

    Hope this Helps!
