  • 1.  Need to migrate version 12.1.6 to 14x on new server and OS

    Hello, We currenlty are running Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 on server 2008 32 bit. We now want to go to version 14.x which I know has to be installed on a 64 bit OS. So we are going to insatll a new server with 2012 R2. My question is, what are the steps that I need to perform this and are we able to migrate the database from the 12.1.6 server to be used on the new server running 2012 R2 and Endpoint 14.X?

    Ok so this will work doing this on version 12.1.6 and moving it over to the 14.x correct? Just wnat to be sure...

    Yes, it's applicable to all versions, 12.1 and 14.

    you would follow the disaster recovery, install the 12.1.6 on the new OS, then do the upgrade

    Move Endpoint Protection Manager to another server without breaking client communications or losing data
