I currently have Symantec Encryption Desktop Client (PGP) v10.3.0.9307 installed on Windows 7 and I'm trying to update to a newer version but I'm unable to uninstall the current v10.3.0.9307 version because it keeps asking for this file:

    PGPDesktopEN64.10.3.0.9307.iga-bld-hde-06p.boulder.ibm.com.msi

And the above file does not exist anywhere on my system.

Does anyone have this file so that I can uninstall the old version and then I'll be able to upgrade to the newer version.

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hello Gary,

For what purpose are using SED? You do not need to uninstall 10.3.0 as you can directky upgrade from SED 10.3.0 to newer version .

Run the newer version on top of 10.3.0 and update us with the result.

The newer version (v10.3.2) is trying to install but it fails because it can't uninstall the previous one (v10.3.0).  However, I think these are IBM-ified versions of PGPDesktop, hence the "boulder.ibm.com.msi" at the end of the file.  I work at IBM and we have to run the PGP Desktop to keep the drives encrypted.  I'm in contact with the people in our boulder office who take care of this stuff so hopefully they will have it.
