    Hi all,

    Has anyone seen issues with Network shares being unavailabe or server hung at shutting down caused by SEP 12.1.RU6 MP5 ?

    Seen this with 14 but not this version of 12.1.

    What components are you running? What server OS?

    Server 2008 R2 standard. Running Virus and Spyware protection and Proactive threat protection.

    I don't see anything for this issue in the fix or release notes. Disable PTP and see if it happens. If not, disable AV and see what the result is. May need to get a support case open.

    Does the Windows Application log show anything?

    Nothing in the logs/ If I turn off AV (Auto protect?) thats like not having SEP installed correct?

    Yes, but, it needs to be tested to see which component is causing it.

    I disabled PTP, will see what happens. Thanks
