  • 1.  Network throughput affected with idsvia64 driver running

    Has anyone else noticed network throughput impact with the idsvia4 driver running?  Using 12.1.3001.165, 12.1.4013.4013 & 12.1.4100.4126 on Windows 7 Pro 64bit and Server 2008 systems.  The driver appears to be tied to IPS, Advanced Download Protection, etc.

    We're seeing it reduce our throughput by over 60%.

    Haven't seen this. Is this on workstations, or servers or? Any custom setup in place?

    This happens on both, servers and workstations.  Nothing custom.  Have removed every component piece by piece and the only way throughput is not affected is by only using the antivirus component by itself.  Waiting for support, engineering, backline, etc.

    If you can easily re-produce, they will want advanced logs from symhelp and pcaps, should be able to narrow it down that way...you're situation seems to be unique as I've not seen this or seen others on this forum with this problem...hopefully they get moving on this.
