It's out of the box and live!

We've been furiously testing this new theme and we hope you'll like it as much as we do!

For more information about the new Connect theme you can take a guided tour here: Welcome to the new Symantec Connect

I hope you like it as much as I do!

Nice job.  It's a big improvement in my opinion!

Much better than the previous theme.  The old theme looked archaic to me, this is a breath of fresh air in comparison.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I've noticed since the theme upgrade, it seems to take a long time when pressing the "Save" button to post comments.

Thanks bhawver - I've reported your experience. We'll keep an eye on that.

Again, I'm not sure if it is just me or not (and this could be related to my previous post as well), but since the update forum posts are showing up as having new posts even after I have read them.  This is happening in Google Chrome, but seems to be ok in IE 8.

The Forums are being cached for 5 minutes - to enhance load times - they will show up as having been read soon.

So that's not "just you" in this case :)

I understand about wanting to enhance load times, but for me it is kind of an irritant to try to remember which ones I've read and which ones I haven't when going through the forums.  And there are times where all of the threads all of a sudden act as if they haven't been read.  My preference would be to not do the caching.

I'll add your vote to the "no caching" column. Thanks!
