  • 1.  No Decrypted PGP Msgs in Outlook

    Posted Sep 10, 2013 06:10 PM

I am running Outlook 2013 on Win 7 along with Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.0 MP3 (Build 9307). I am able to send PGP encrypted emails via Outlook/Exchange perfectly. A notification box displays when I highlight an encrypted email in my inbox, but the content is not decrypted. I can drag the message to the PGP Viewer and the email is decrypted successfully.

This may be related to Semantec Encryption Desktop only having partial support for Outlook 2013:

    Compatibility with Microsoft Outlook 2013
Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3 MP2 for Windows supports the use of the Symantec™ Desktop
Email Encryption, Powered by PGP Technology component for Microsoft Outlook 2013 (32-bit)
with Windows 8 and Exchange 2010.
