Hola,

He borrado uno de los servidores bajo Admin -> Servers y quiero reemplzarlo con el otro que estaba en el mismo sitio (solo habia dos) con motivo de una migracion. Al otro servidor lo nombre como elprimero debido a que este ultimo ya poseia Windows 2012 y demas cosas actalizadas. Ahora no puedo loguearme a SEPM a pesar de que todo parece estar bien.

Alguna sugerencia?

Getting error with all the admin accounts. I repeat the server is new. The old one was replaced and I deleted it from Admin > Servers before replace. When I renamed the new one as the old one, I couldn't log in to SEPM but the clients are connected to the SEPM.

And what is the error? "Unable to login" or similar?

"The administrator's user name or password is incorrect. Type a valid user name or password" But when I check the SQL database, I have the server in the list and the admin users too. Can't understand this issue. Maybe the NIC but I don't think so.

Deleting shouldn't kill access. Local login with the 'admin' account should still work.
 

What about forgot password link? was the email address setup to send a temp password?

were you having any domain in SEPM. If yes then try putting the Domain ( SePM domain) in the login screen

I need the restepass to reset the admin local account just to login and see what is happening.

with 12.x you need to log a case, resetpass should let you in.

sorry maybe I made my question in a wrong way let me explain.

I had a server named SERVER1 with Windows 2008 and SEPM 12.1.4. I created another server named SERVER2 with Windows 2012 and installed SEPM 12.1.4, both servers under the same site.

After checked that, I deleted SERVER1 from Admin -> Servers and renamed SERVER2 Aas SERVER1 (same IP too) in order to not lose the connections with the clients. After that I upgraded to SEPM 12.1.6 and checked some clients confirming that they were reponting to the SEPM. Success. But when I tried to log into SEPM, I got the error.

We migrated the database to Native SQL2012. I tried to login to the same server, another DB (testing). Success

Can't understand why I can't login.

So everything appears to be fucntioning correctly aside from you not being able to login to the SEPM?

Yes sr. I put online the old db an connected the server there, and I can login. I'll check that but and if the issue appears again I'll post here again. Thanks for your replies.
