Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

My notification server running very very slow. If I click any tab or left pane I have to wait 5-10min. Please anyone can help me for tuning parametrs to resolve the issue.

Moving to Altiris Notification Server Forum

so that begs the question, what is your hardware and software configuration of the server? Not to mention a ton of other things that could be affecting performance (collection update parameters, patch management updating, client configuration check in, etc).

Are you running v6 or v7?

Screenshots are good, but need some more data.  Would need to know hardware, version, when this started.

Notification server running on Intel Xeon 8Core 2.6Ghz, 3.5GB RAM, SQL 2005 On-Box with default instance, Windows 2003 Enerprise Server 32bit.

More over notification server running Client Management Suite, CMDB & Asset Management solution installed but we are using only client management suite i.e. weekly delta and monthly full inventory, Software delivery as well as patch management yesterday only I able to stage the bulliten because of NS running very slow.

v6 or v7?  How many nodes?

Notification Server 6 with 8 package server 1000 nodes.....

Review all KBs linked in Jim's KB, then post back the status/results.

Problem has resolved by SQL team.
